The Best of 2019 

Here at Amanda Rose Online, we finish off each year with our “Best Of” series giving you the best and most popular classes from this year. The Best of 2019 will include at least 1 class from each 2019 series with a total of 10 classes! There will be a flash sale available for this series offering the series for only $69 during 4 days, and afterwards the price will go up to $85. This is a great sampler series for anyone who hasn’t previously taken Amanda Rose Online series but wants an affordable and diverse representation of Amanda Rose Online classes. It’s also a fantastic way to revisit the variety of topics covered over this year, review previously taken classes or series you might not have been able to take! Topics will include: Taqsim & Improvisation, Assaya Cane Technique for Beledy and Saidi, Drum Solo, Arms & Hands, Musicality & Style, Pure Technique, Melaya Leff, Advanced Modern Oriental style and more! Sale starts on Nov 28th and will run through Dec 1st.

PERSONAL FEEDBACK

Personal Feedback is available for this series! The personal feedback option has become a highly popular option with Amanda Rose Online, allowing students to get the most out of their long distance online study! You will be asked to select 4 classes from those that are offered and submit a video of yourself performing the combination, choreography and or improvisation exercises from that class.

This feedback will entail technique critique specifically towards the technique used in the combinations, general technique suggestions, evaluation of strengths and weakness, posture, application, timing, drills and ideas for skill development! This tool is extremely valuable, not only do you get the class, basic and advanced technique, combination application and breakdown, you also will get direct feedback on your own performance of the choreography/combination, an invaluable aspect many online classes don't offer!

HOW THIS SERIES WORKS

This is a 4 week long series, and will offer 10 full length classes with unlimited access for the entire length of the series. Classes will never close and will always be available until the last day of the series.

The series starts on Friday, Dec 13th and will close on January 10th, 2019. All necessary information, videos, links, music, etc. will be accessible on the AmandaRoseDance.com website, in the respective class pages.

If you are participating in the Personal Feedback aspect of this series you can submit your videos for feedback at your convenience as the series goes on.

The "Best of 2019" series will have a designated Facebook group for the duration of the course allowing participants to interact, ask questions and work through the material together. Amanda Rose will accessible through this group, as well a through email, for clarification or any questions you might have along the way. Additionally, during the course of the intensive Private Lessons with Amanda Rose will available at a discounted rate for course participants!

INSTRUCTION PHILOSOPHY 

As an instructor my goal is to expand the mind of each of my students, to challenge them with technique that will set them free and teach them skills to allow their own artistic dreams come to fruition. It is never my goal to create dancers that look or dance like me, but to help each student and artist accomplish their own goals by giving them tools that will make the path to their own artistic expression more tangible. I appreciate all styles within the Middle Eastern dance genre, as well as other dance forms, and my desire is to help people express themselves how they wish to be seen regardless of style. I am a firm believer in understanding the roots and origin of movement styles, especially those based in culture and society, and then building your own expression with artistic integrity based in knowledge and thoughtful approach.
